The seventh issue of Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies, published in October 2024, focuses on the dossier titled “Representations of Translators in Literature.” Edited by Nefise Kahraman, the issue revisits the debates surrounding the “fictional turn” through examples from Turkish literature and comparative readings. The dossier includes three original articles, one translated article, and one book review. In addition to the dossier, the issue features two independent original articles, one translated article, two book reviews, and two document publications. Shaped around questions concerning the representations of the translator figure in fiction, identity and representation, and fidelity versus infidelity, the dossier aims to make original contributions to translation studies.
