The sixth issue of Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies, published in April 2024, centers on the dossier titled “Ecocriticism, Sustainability, and Literature.” Edited by Esra Almas and Deniz Gündoğan İbrişim, the dossier was shaped around Bilkent University’s graduate conference held on October 14, 2022, and includes six original articles, three critical essays, one interview, and one book review. In addition to the dossier, the issue features three independent original articles, one book review, and one document publication. Positioned at the intersections of human/nonhuman, environment/aesthetics, ecofeminism, and Anthropocene debates, the issue aims to bring ecocriticism into literary criticism through diverse methods and theoretical frameworks.
