Archiving Policy
Nesir: Journal of Literary Studies adopts a transparent and sustainable archiving policy to ensure the long-term accessibility and preservation of all scholarly content published by the journal.
The journal is published using Open Journal Systems (OJS) and participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides long-term digital preservation through a distributed, third-party archival infrastructure based on LOCKSS technology.
All published issues have been successfully deposited in the PKP Preservation Network and are preserved independently of the journal’s publishing platform.
Technical and Operational Measures
In addition to third-party digital preservation via PKP PN, the journal maintains internal backup and security procedures to support operational continuity. These local measures complement—but do not replace—independent external digital preservation services.
Print Archiving
Nesir is a digital-only journal. When appropriate, selected issues or special dossiers may be deposited in partner university libraries or maintained in institutional archive collections for documentation and reference purposes.
